The salvation Army operates in 111 coutries worldwide. The organisation divides itself geograhically into Territories, which are indeed sub-divided into Divisions. This report will focus on the four genial services centres that make up the Republic of Ireland Division of The buyback Army which is part of the United Kingdom Territory. An overview of the communication ask within the four social services centres will be included and recommendations will be made where appropriate. The seven stages obscure in effective midland communication will be discussed in detail with a primary focus on developing a communications system that is applicable to the organisation.

The objective of this report is to consider the current communications strategy of The Salvation Army, Republic of Ireland Division and make suitable recommendations for a communications charter with reference to the importance of communication in an organisation. The seven stages involved in good internal communication are discussed in detail and influenced all recommendations.
The main findings of this report outlined different features of the communications strategy currently organism implemented throughout the organisation.
