Writing Assignment #1
I believe on that point are many different ways to raise a child. Some are viewed as wrong by plastered people, while ways are considered common sense. I realize a young son whom I raised in the main on my own for a portion of his life. I collapse had to try many different approaches to raising and disciplining him, as Im sure many parents have done as well. I believe when a child does something good, he should play positive reinforcement from it as well as when a child is being bad, he should receive the proper punishment. on that point are positive and negative ways in s formulation a child as well as reinforcing a child.
Positive Reinforcement
Almost a year ago, we started throne training my son. In order to conquer him to where he would engage the potty, we had to use positive reinforcement. Multiple times throughout the day we would civilize him into the bathroom, set him on the potty, and wait. Every time he would potty we would praise him with Yay! and Good job, youre such a declamatory boy! and Way to go! and I even do a chart for him to put a sticker on whenever he would use the potty. With the positive words and the stickers, we potty handy him at a very early age.
Negative Reinforcement
A personal example of negative reinforcement that comes to mind is with a friend of mine. His wife will scream, yell, and nag at him until he finally does whatever it is that she wants him to do. In order to avoid her shriek or to make her limp yelling at him, he will stop what hes doing to do as she wants him to. Even if what hes doing is more important that what she wants him to do, he will do her bidding so she wont scold him. Upon many occasions he has told me of things that he didnt want to do at the particular moment in time (as in take out the trash, mow the lawn, or do the dishes) but still did just so she would stop talking about him doing it.
