In my twelfth kind language arts class we are learning roughly the Neoclassical Period which started in the 18th century. In which umteen writers and poets put all their hard working ideas into their literature and visual arts which were inspired by the Greek and Latin period. I opt two of the most important people in the neoclassical period John Milton and Antonio Canova. They influenced many people with their famed poems and sculptures which is why they are still important and talked about today.
Neoclassicalism was a time era where artists looked to the classical period for their creative eagerness to make an effort in the classical time. The artists and writers got their ideas from religious and semipolitical matters to produce their poetry and art work. It was defined as the classicism that dominated English literature during restoration age and lasted into the ordinal century. They believed in Greek ideals, passion and great communication or else than self-expression. They celebrated human potential, individualism and imagination.
