In institution we either receive an X chromosome or a Y chromosome; dictating whether we become a male or female (MacQueen 66). Yet, this does non answer the question of why we behave like workforce or women. That is, men be supposed to be more than aggressive and domineering, and women more caring and submissive. Men must constitute strength and work hard and women must be maternal and kindhearted. These behaviors we take on may even cause conflict. For example, the course we converse to one another is an interesting and complicated deflexion we must share. The differences in our speech vary from apologies to jokes; there is an imperceptiblelanguage barrier between men and women.
Women are often told they apologize too much. The reason being is many womens conversations are designed around feelings and emotions. This maintains an emotional balance in the conversation; a ritual in conversing between women. Im sorry I didnt come to your party. No, Im sorry I should have called you ahead of time. This is a typical saving face method which women generally use. This is at odds(p) to an average mans perspective to which apologizing is synonymous to place oneself down.
