Summary of the Odyssey
Part (1)

Prologue

* Muse, foster me tell the story of the skillful wanderer who wanted to increase home after the action of Troy, the Trojan War.
* He do many adventures during the bitter nights at sea.
* He fought to save his flavor and his shipmates lives.
* His companions killed and feasted the cattle of Helios.
* They were destroyed and prevented to return home again.

Sailing from Troy

* I am Odysseus, Laertes son, whose fame as a cunning warrior spread wholly over the world.
* Odysseus lived in Ithaca under Mount Neion. Ithaca is the most pleasing Island among the other Islands.
* On a rocky isle, Odysseus was detained by fairy-slipper holding him in her caves to be her core groups delight.
* His shopping centre isnt with her because he was far away from his home and family. His heart is hurt even if he lived in a hold of gold.
* As for his adventure coming from Troy, the wind directed him to Ismarus.
* Odysseus, with the attention of his companions, fought and conquered the inhabitants of the island enslaved the women.
* He ordered his men to come back to sea again, but they were mutinous.
* They kept butchering, feasting, and drinking wine.




* Some fugitives went inland to yell their army. They returned with knights on horsebacks.
* They were about to defeat Odysseus and his men, but they managed to escape.
* Odysseus lost the battle because of:
* Odysseus men were caught of guard.
* Odysseus men were drunk.
* The Cicones were outnumbered.
* The Cicones had an extra advantage (their land).
* The Cicones fought on horseback.
* sextet benches of their ships were left empty. They were happy to have their precious lives but no-account for their friends.
