Observation
The excogitation of the ramifyroom observation was to get out me with an experience in which they I was able to view the classroom environment and dynamics, question the teacher I was observing, and come to a better understanding of who I want to be as a teacher. I observed a classroom for five-spot total hours and interview the teacher regarding their ideas about the primary purpose of schooling, how schools met the needs of a variety of different learners, how their experience in the classroom aligned with their initial expectations of teaching, and also what their hopes for and concerns about the prospective of education in the United States regarded. Hopefully this paper leave alone explained my experience and the information I gathered from observing a classroom and interviewing the educator.
I observed Mr. Pratchers Physical precept class at Pearl- Cohn High School in Nashville, TN. Mr. Pratcher taught the class for 45 minutes day. The students only went to other teachers or cogency for lunch, core classes and music/art. The students spent most of their time taking notes and reading and responding to Mr. Pratcher during the class period.
The morning time session followed this sequence: morning announcements, attendance review of the previous lesson plan and notes. The experience was precise interesting and informative.
I suppose the biggest thing I will take away from the experience is how to handle children who are hyperactive. The teacher talked quietly and calmly to them and never got them excited or upset. When they acted up he moved to isolate them, but did not reprobate them or punish them. It was more a matter of ascendence and separation than punishment. When I was in school teachers were always the punishers. They were the ones who vomit up us in the corner or sent us to the principle or called our parents.
