Our family has a tradition weve practiced for four generations. Its called Sun twenty-four hour period Dinner, yes there throw been movies about Sunday dinners where you devour African American families gathered around a table with the most delicious, and beautifully prepargond foods you can imagine. Our Sunday dinners are very similar exactly theres a bit of a twist that youll learn about after in the story. Our traditional dishes of pot roast, mashed potatoes drizzled with gravy, lemon on the cob dripping with butter, home made rolls, tossed commonality salad, p for each one cobbler, and lemon meringue pie have been scaled down quite an a bit. We would usually decide on the following Sundays menu, and then decide on which family would prepare each dish.
There are a total of seven families ranging in size from four to eight or nine so every one preparing food is responsible to prepare nice for everyone to have seconds of anything they choose, so were talking about a
muckle of food, and a whole lot of elbow grease! No one ever complains, at least not away(p) of their own kitchen, because we share bragging rights on the food we always put forth our very best effort.
The other purpose for our Sunday dinners is to celebrate birthdays.
