The 2005 German remove Sophie Scholl: The Final Days depicts the anti-Nazi heroine Sophie Magdalena Scholl (May 9, 1921 February 22, 1943). Directed by Marc Rothemund this incredible film is both depressing and inspiring as it follows the true story of Sophie and Hans Scholl, along with Christoph Probst, who were leash members of a nonviolent resistance group c in alled The White uprise. The opening of the film shows Sophie and Gisela express emotion and listening to music, enjoying themselves as we would except of young women. When Sophie and her brother Hans distribute the flyers through the Uni, this proves the bravery, also confidence these two have to drive the loyalty to power, causing sparks to fly within the Uni. In the flyers The White Rose members state that Hitler cannot win the war.

Sophie Scholl is one of those films that maintain tension and disbelief even though the outcome is known from the beginning shot.
