tom turkey Drakes had a strange ideas of fun . His favourite itinerary of amusing himself was to annoy separate people.But the day of the clear was the day he learnt his lesson. You had to break the glass and subr extinctine a handle; that wasw all,and then the absquatulatemen came to put out the fire. gobbler would start one of these alarms and then enjoy watching the fire locomotive engines as they raced down the street looking for the fire. He uses to get over behind a wall at the corner of the street and laugh as the firemen observed that there was no fire and got back angrily on to their engines
tom told some of his friends at school about the fun he was having and the result was that there were soon boys all over the town who went about jump false alarms of fires.
In the holidays Tom liked to do interpersonal chemistry experiments in his bed-room. One day there was an accident He was using a burner to heat some liquid, when suddenly he knocked it over, and in a few moments his bed was on fire. Tom saw immediately that firemen would be needed to put the fire out. At top speed he ran downstairs and out o9f the house, and along the street to the corner where the fire alarm stood . .

At the sound of a go bell his fear changed suddenly to hope. Yes, it really was the fire engine that came racing down the road!
