When the United States made the fault of backing Saddam Hussein in the Iran-Iraq War, they had a legislate in the hundreds of thousands of deaths caused by the war, and turned America into a preeminent target for terrorism. The U.S. wanted to be real that Iran did not win the war, because Iran, and America were not on grave terms.
